System Overload

System Overload explores the connection between rave culture, immersive music experiences, and neurodivergent sensory perception through moving image and print.

Using p5.js, I generate audio-reactive visuals from rave frequencies and rhythms, creating digital patterns inspired by club environments. This further developed into physical outcomes using laser engraving, layering, and print experimentation.

Focusing on colour, repetition, and movement, this project captures the intensity and immersion of club spaces while exploring the relationship between sound, perception, and graphic communication.

Final outcomes include rave posters and flyers, an engraved acrylic book, and a layered CD case that reimagines music packaging.
